Indian Army’s 50 RR Swiftly Contain Gas-Leak Fire in Ladhoo Village, Provide Relief and Medical Support to Affected Family
PAMPORE, November 22 To provide necessary assistance in extinguishing the fire, medical support and immediate life sustenance materials to the family affected by the fire incident and to strengthen the relationship of trust, compassion, and goodwill among the local populous with 50RR.
A fire incident occurred at 1205hrs at the residence of Abdul Rahman Waghey, resident of, Bathpura of Ladhoo Village in Pampore area of Pulwama district.
The fire broke out due to a gas leak.
Abdul with the prompt response of the Indian Army personnel of 50 RR and local neighbors, managed to extinguish the fire. Troops of 50 RR assisted prevention of further spread of fire to the nearby houses.
Indian Army personnel from Shar COB (50 RR) responded with imdt effect, exceptional speed and professionalism, reached the site soon after the incident was reported through the local personal.
The necessary measures were undertaken to mitigate the situation and provide immediate relief to the family and neighbours.
50 RR Ensured the extinguishing of fire with the help of water bowser and local fire fighting team and assisted in preventing the spread of fire by cordoning the area and helped in clearing debris and securing the affected area.
The unit also Supplied Food items and dry rations for sustenance and extended medical support to the injured persons in the area as well as coordinated for local medical support for ppl in the area
The family of bdul Rahman Waghey conveyed their heartfelt gratitude towards the Indian Army for their imdt reaction is extinguishing the fire and clearing debris, compassionate approach, and selfless medical assistance during the distressing situation. The timely support provided by 50 RR for the family has been well received by the locals as well.
