Indian Army Screens Motivational Movie “Amaran” for Students in Rajouri
Rajouri, Feb 22: In a bid to inspire and instill patriotism among the youth, the Indian Army organized a special screening of the motivational movie “Amaran” for students of Tender Feet School, Keri.
The film narrates the extraordinary story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, an Indian Army officer who sacrificed his life during a counter-terrorism operation, highlighting values of courage, leadership, and national pride.
The initiative reflects the Army’s commitment to fostering a sense of duty and responsibility among schoolchildren by showcasing real-life heroism.
The event was attended by 72 students and five teachers, followed by an interactive session where students engaged with army personnel to gain insights into the life, bravery, and values of Major Mukund Varadarajan.
Expressing their enthusiasm, students and teachers thanked the Indian Army for organizing the event.
“Major Mukund Varadarajan’s story is a beacon of inspiration,” said one of the teachers. They further noted that such initiatives motivate the younger generation to strive for excellence and develop a deep sense of duty toward the nation.
The Indian Army continues to engage with local communities, particularly youth, through such motivational programs, reinforcing the spirit of service, sacrifice, and patriotism.
