POONCH, JANUARY 1: In a commendable step towards empowering women in remote border areas, the Indian Army has launched a basic computer course under Operation Sadbhavna at Harni, Poonch. The initiative aims to enhance women’s knowledge of Information Technology, bringing them on par with their counterparts across the country.

The program focuses on teaching fundamental computer operations, including MS Office and safe internet usage. It aligns with the Government’s ‘Skill India’ mission, aiming to improve education methodologies and boost employment prospects for participants.

Women participants have shown great enthusiasm for the initiative, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to acquire valuable skills that enhance both their knowledge and prospects for employment or entrepreneurship.
