Indian Army and Air Force Conduct Joint Training Exercise in Jammu

Jammu, Feb 24: In a major step toward enhancing joint operational readiness, the Indian Army and Indian Air Force (IAF) conducted an integrated training exercise under the aegis of Tiger Division, Jammu.

An official spokesperson in Jammu said the exercise focused on seamless coordination between ground forces and aerial assets, a key aspect of modern warfare.

Key Highlights of the exercise included Swift troop deployment wherein IAF helicopters airlifted troops from a mounting base and successfully inserted them into a designated area, Simulated combat scenario wherein Troops executed a well-coordinated assault after insertion, demonstrating real-time combat readiness and Aerial maneuvers & precision targeting wherein the exercise refined tactics for rapid deployment behind enemy lines and precision engagement.

Officials said the high-tempo exercise underscored the synergy between the Army and Air Force, reaffirming the strategic importance of air mobility in modern warfare.

It also enhanced inter-service coordination, ensuring troops are well-prepared for executing complex missions in operational environments.
