Arin, Nov 28: Govt Higher Secondary School Arin organised a mega Science Quiz Programme featuring competitive rounds based on some of the most advanced scientific themes, including Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Robotics and Quantum Science.
Officials said the event was presided over by the school Principal Manzoor Ahmad Khan.
Four teams from Classes 9th and 10th participated in the quiz, with the 9th Class Girls’ team securing the first position after an engaging and closely contested competition.
Prizes were distributed among all participants at the end of the programme.
Addressing the students, Vice Principal Mohammad Amin Bhat stressed the significance of such initiatives in nurturing scientific curiosity and analytical thinking among students.
“Quiz programmes like this are essential for developing a scientific temperament. Such events must continue so that students remain motivated and intellectually engaged,” he said.
The programme was organised by Waseem Akram (Chemistry Teacher) and Fayaz Ahmad Parray (PEM), who ensured smooth conduct and proper arrangements.
Kaisar Iqbal served as the scorer, while Humaira Wani acted as the timer.
The event was hosted by Waseem Akram, who kept the audience engaged throughout the competition.
The Mega Science Quiz concluded with appreciation for the organisers and participants, reinforcing the school’s commitment to promoting scientific learning and academic excellence.
