Bandipora, May 24: Hassan Khoyihami Memorial (HKM) Degree College Bandipora Saturday organised a counselling session on Saturday for 10+2 students aspiring to seek admission for the academic session 2025–26.
An official spokesperson said the event was aimed at providing detailed guidance regarding the admission process and the academic programs offered by the institution.
The session began with a welcome address by the Officiating Principal, Prof. Bilquees Rasool War, who highlighted the college’s vibrant academic environment and urged students to make informed choices about their future educational pursuits.
The main session was led by Prof. Tariq Ahmad Bhat, Convener of the College Admission Committee. He gave a detailed PowerPoint presentation outlining the college profile, admission procedures, course options, and registration steps. His talk offered prospective students a comprehensive understanding of both acadamic and administrative processes at the college.
An interactive Q&A session followed, during which students posed questions and received clarifications on a range of admission-related queries.
The program was smoothly conducted by Prof. Shahid Shafi, Head of the Department of Economics.
A formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Sajad Manzoor, Head of the Department of Political Science, who acknowledged the contributions of the organising team and thanked the attending students. Dr. Ghulam Mohammad Khan from the Department of English documented the session as rapporteur.
