HKM College Bandipora to cancel admission of Absent Students

Bandipora, July 3: Hassan Shah Khuehami memorial College Bandipora has taken a hard stance to tackle abseentism in the college and has decided to cancel the admission of absent students.
Principal HKM College Prof Masood Ahmad Malik on Monday issued a notice warning that admission of absent students shall be cancelled and said that only students with a minimum of 74% attendance in each subject will be eligible to appear for university examinations.
According to the order, College authorities said that “as per the guidelines of Kashmir University, students who have been absent for a consecutive period of 20 days will have their admission suspended from the college. These students will only be eligible for re-admission once, after fulfilling the requirement of 50% fee of normal admission fee”.
This measure has been implemented to ensure that students take college guidelines seriously and maintain regular attendance.
The Principal of GDC Bandipora has urged students to attend college continuously and avoid facing suspension from the college.
