Hajin, Jan 29: As part of its public outreach programme, Hajin Police on Thursday organized a Thana Diwas at Police Station Hajin to strengthen police–public relations and address local grievances.
The programme was chaired by SDPO Sumbal, Nawaz Ahmad Khanday, and was attended by SHO Police Station Hajin, Saleem Ahmad.
The meeting witnessed participation from respectable citizens, members of civil society, Auqaf Committee representatives, Numberdars, Chowkidars, members of the Traders Federation and local transporters.
During the interaction, participants raised various issues of public importance concerning law and order, civic amenities and community welfare. The police officers listened patiently to all grievances and categorized them according to jurisdiction and the required course of action, assuring appropriate follow-up and redressal.
