Bandipora, Feb 13: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman, Chairperson District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) today chaired a weekly DLIC meeting to review the progress of the Holistic Agriculture Development Program (HADP) in the district.
According to details, 97 cases of the agriculture department were put forward for consideration, and the committee approved all the 97 cases after threadbare discussions.
On the occasion the DC reviewed the status of progress made under HADP since its launch and took stock of various aspects of HADP including seed distribution, Soil Health testing, Irrigation Infrastructure, farm mechanisation, and farmer training programmes.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the status regarding achievements of targets and other key initiatives taken under HADP.
Shakeel Ur Rehman, on the occasion, assured all possible support from the district administration to facilitate the success of HADP.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer Mohd Maqbool, Chief Agriculture Officer Javid Ahmad Samoon, Chief Horticulture Officer Farooq Ahmad and representatives from other agriculture allied and concerned departments.
