Srinagar, Oct 28:The government has ruled out any age limit relaxation for Open Merit aspirants of the Jammu & Kashmir Combined Competitive Examination (JKAS-CCE) 2025.

The decision was communicated in an official written response to MLA Lal Chowk, Sheikh Ahsan Ahmad (Pardesi).

The reply of which a copy lies with Kashmir Convener, stated that the government is not currently considering any proposal to relax the upper age limit for the “Open Merit” category in the upcoming examination.

This clarification addresses the persistent demands from Open Merit category aspirants for an extension of the upper age limit.

Justifying its stance, the government highlighted that the J&K Combined Competitive Examinations have been conducted regularly from 2021 to 2024. It emphasized that this consistent schedule has provided ample opportunities for all aspirants to participate, making an age relaxation unnecessary at this time.
