Girls High School Plan Kick Starts Fortnightly Activities Under Sewa Parv
Bandipora, September 17: Government Girls High School Plan Bandipora formally kick-started the Sewa Parv fortnight activities on Wednesday with great enthusiasm and active participation of students as well as staff members.
An official spokesperson of the Institution said the program will continue till 2nd October 2025, during which a variety of activities will be organized each day, highlighting the spirit of service, cleanliness, and social awareness.
He said the main objective behind these activities is to inculcate in students the values of responsibility, community service, discipline, and national consciousness. The campaign particularly aims to spread the message of a Clean Bharat, Tobacco-Free Bharat, and Drug-Free Bharat, thereby inspiring the younger generation to take constructive steps towards a healthier and better society.
On the inaugural day of the program, the proceedings began with the administration of the Cleanliness Pledge, where both students and staff members took an oath to keep their surroundings neat and clean and to contribute towards the cleanliness of the nation.
The pledge was followed by a Cleanliness Drive in which the participants actively engaged in cleaning the school premises and the areas around it. This not only created awareness but also set an example for the community.
The staff members motivated the students to remain committed throughout the fortnight and to take the message of cleanliness, tobacco-free, and drug-free living to their homes and neighborhoods. The event witnessed a vibrant atmosphere filled with dedication, zeal, and a sense of responsibility.
With this energetic beginning, Girls High School Plan looks forward to conducting the upcoming activities under Sewa Parv, which will continue to reinforce the values of service, discipline, and nation-building till 2nd October 2025, marking the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
