Aloosa, Bandipora: Government Higher Secondary School Aloosa on Saturday organised a mass Parent-Teachers Meeting (PTM) with an aim to bridge the gap between parents and teachers for the better development of children.
An official spokesperson said meeting was held under the theme “Connecting Home and School” and presided over by Principal and Cluster Head Shabir Hussain Parra, who delivered a warm welcome address, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings.
The programme featured eminent speakers, including Mr. Fayaz Ahmad, Senior Lecturer from DIET Bandipora, and Mr. G. M. Lone, a nationally awarded educator who graced the occasion as the chief guest. Mr. Manzoor Ahmad anchored the event with engaging introductions and smooth coordination.
The day’s highlights included speeches, debates, skits, folk dance performances, and other cultural activities, showcasing the talents of students and reinforcing the strong cultural roots of the community.
A key focus of the programme was bringing parents, teachers, and students face-to-face to address the growing disconnect between these three vital pillars of the education system. The overwhelming participation of a large number of parents reflected a collective resolve to strengthen communication, cooperation, and shared responsibility in shaping the future of children.
The event concluded with an optimistic note, emphasizing that strong home and school partnerships can play a transformative role in improving both academic performance and the holistic development of students.
