Bandipora, Feb 10: Girls High School Plan, Bandipora, secured first position in a painting competition organised under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan by the 62 Battalion Camp, Bandipora.
An official spokesperson of the institution said the competition witnessed participation from a large number of students representing various schools, who showcased their creativity while spreading awareness against drug abuse.
Samreen Mir, a Class 9 student of the school, won the first prize for her impactful and meaningful painting. She was felicitated with a trophy by senior officials of the Border Security Force.
The Headmaster and staff of Girls High School Plan congratulated the student on her achievement and encouraged students to actively participate in such awareness programmes in the future to bring further recognition to the institution.
