Kupwara, March 1: Noted scholar, prominent fiction Writer of (Urdu, Gojari languages) and Retired Deputy Director Information, Gh. Rasool Badana (Azad) on Tuesday breathed his last in Srinagar after a prolonged illness.
Gh.Rqsool Badana hailing from Hachmarg Chowkibal in Kupwara district has served as District Information Officer, Kupwara from 1984 to 1988 and 1993 to 1996.
"The demise of Senior retired officer of information Department , is extremely condoled by journalists, writers and literary persons of Kupwara district.
Officials of District Information Office, Kupwara lead by Tariq Ahmad Mir, Senior Assistnat Mohamad Rafiq Paswal( On deployment), Tanveer Ahmad Shah and Gh. Nabi Mir, in a condolence meeting held at Kupwara has payed their heartfelt tributes to departed soul and prayed that the bereaved family members get the strength to bear this immense sorrow. ”
