Bandipora, July 29: Soft Tennis Association District Bandipora in collaboration with Govt. Degree College Ajas Bandipora organized an awareness programme about Soft Tennis from 26th -27th July 2021 at GDC Ajas Bandipora.
An official spokesperson said a good number of students from GDC Ajas besides students across different schools of District Bandipora participated in the event. The opening ceremony was attended by the Principal of the College Prof (Dr.) Parveen Kousar as Chief Guest.
Convener Sports Prof. Mehraj Din, GDC Ajas played an active role in organizing the event for the overall development of the students.
Organizing Secretary Fasil Ali and his team introduced the sport to the students and practically demonstrated the various rules and regulations of soft tennis.
The event was formally started by the Principal of the college and Convener Sports GDC Ajas. Fasil Ali, the organizing Secretary motivated students to take active part in all sports and highlighted how sports can be chosen as a career.
