GBHSS Dangerpora hosts Vibrant Food and Art Carnival

BARAMULLA, SEPTEMBER 15: Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) Dangerpora today hosted a vibrant Food & Art Carnival, organised by the Department of Tourism & Hospitality Management, providing students an engaging platform to showcase their culinary skills, artistic talent, creativity, cultural heritage and innovative ideas.

The event was graced by Joint Director, School Education (North), Kashmir, Hakeem Tanveer Ahmad; Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sopore, Shabir Ahmad Raina; and Zonal Education Officer, Dangerpora, Abdul Salam Dar, besides other dignitaries and guests.

During the visit, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sopore, interacted with students and visited various classes, encouraging them to remain focused, confident and committed towards their goals.

The Joint Director, School Education (North), appreciated the creativity, talent and efforts displayed by the students, and emphasised the importance of such activities in their overall development.

The successful conduct of the carnival reflected the dedicated efforts of Tourism teacher Nadeem Ahmad Dar, whose innovative approach and emphasis on practical learning provided students with meaningful opportunities to explore and showcase their skills.

The initiative was also supported by the Principal Mushtaq Sopori, whose continuous encouragement has fostered an enriching environment for students to develop confidence, creativity and talent.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and the collective efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff, making the carnival a memorable celebration of talent, culture and creativity.
