Bandipora, August 18: Former minister and ex-MLA Bandipora Usman Majid on Tuesday welcomed four political activists from Braripora Bonkoot into his political camp, according to a statement issued by his supporters.
The activists were identified as Farooq Ahmad Malik, Mohammad Ashraf Malik, Tariq Ahmad Ganai and Mohammad Amin Banda.
The statement said their joining would strengthen Majid’s team and described the development as an indication of growing support for his political activities in Bandipora.
Majid welcomed the activists and said they would work together for the welfare and development of the area.
The development comes as political groups and leaders in Bandipora continue to expand their organisational networks and outreach ahead of future political activities.
