Bandipora 8 Mar: Department of Fisheries Bandipora Wednesday held a day-long training-cum-demonstration programme at Shokbaba Fish farm under ATMA scheme.
Officials said about 25 fish farmers from the district of Bandipora took part and received the most technical and latest information for trout and carp farming.
Under the supervision of Assistant Director of fisheries Bandipora, the day long training and demonstration sessions was held to build and boost fish production as well as income of fish farmers of district Bandipora.
Also, the department of fisheries informed them of the most recent initiatives and schemes of Govt, officials added.
According to the Assistant Director of fisheries, "such programmes enhance farmers' awareness of new approaches for their improvement, and he also assured more similar awareness/training sessions in the future.
