Baramulla, Feb 07: The faulty drainage system at Baramulla railway station has irked the passengers as the little showers leave the whole station inundated while the railway authority seem to be least bothered about this.
The daily commuters told Kashmir Convener that the water gets stagnant at the railway station premises even after a light rainfall as the whole drainage system gets choked and inundates the whole premises.
" Rainy season has been troublesome for us from past many years as the entry and exit from railway station becomes difficult due to water logged premises," said Sheeba Haji a student at Government Degree College Baramulla.
Another passenger said they informed the railway authority many times about the same but they seem to be least bothered about this.
The passengers appealed railway authorities and Deputy Commissioner to look into the matter and get the drainage system augmented so that locals don't face any problem.
