Father of Senior Journalist Mohammad Sayeed passes away

Bandipora, Jan 17: Father of senior Journalist and correspondent News-18 Urdu Mohammad Sayeed passed away on Thursday in Nowpora Bandipora. He was 81.

          Muzzafar Ahmad Beigh was a Government Employees and retired in 1995 as Block Development Officer Dangerpora Sopore.   Born in 193, Beigh was ailing from past few years and breathed his last on Thursday morning.

          Hundreds of people participated in the funeral prayers of the deceased that was lead by Imam-e-Hai Bandipora Moulana Khursheed Ahmad Naqashbandi.

          He was the Father of senior Journalist and correspondent News-18 Urdu for Bandipora Mohammad Sayeed Beigh.

          Many political, Social and religious organisation condoled the demise of Muzaffar Ahmad Beigh. In separate messages of condolences, the organisation expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.

          Meanwhile Kashmir Convener team also expresses condolences with the bereaved family. A condolence meeting in this regard was held at the Kashmir Convener Office wherein the participants expressed solidarity with their colleague Mohammad Sayeed Beigh in this hour of grief and prayed for the departed soul.

          Press Association Bandipora has also expressed condolence on the sad demise of Mohammad Sayeed's father.  In a statement issued today, the association expressed sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.

          Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and District Information Officer Bandipora Jahangir Ahmad Akhoon condoled the demise of Muzaffar Ahmad Beigh and expressed solidarity with Journalist Mohammad Sayeed Beigh.

          Senior PDP leader and former Legislator Nizamuddin Bhat also expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of father of Mohmmad Syed Beigh, Journalist and News18 Urdu correspondent for Bandipora. 

          Bhat, while expressing solidarity with the bereaved family said it is a personal loss for him too.  He said Beigh was a noble soul who will be known for his sociability and simplicity.  He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.

          State General Secretary of Pradesh Congress Committee and Former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid also condoled the demise of father of Senior Journalist and News-18 Urdu Correspondent Mohammad Sayeed Beigh.

          In the condolence message, Majid said Muzaffar Ahmad Beigh was a helpful person known for his Simplicity. He said in his death, the Bandipora has lost a generous human being. He expressed his sympathy with Beigh and other members of the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
