Jammu, March 16: The Regional Commissioner of the Employees Provident Fund Jammu Rizwan Uddin on Thursday said the office has processed a record number of claims of death cases thereby disbursing the benefits to their family members.
In a statement issued to Media, Rizwanudin said working towards ensuring social security to all the eligible members and their family members, over a dozen claims of death cases were processed and benefits have been disbursed to their family members.
The team led by Rizwan Uddin consisted of Ajit Mishra, Shiva Murthy, Ketan Saxena, and Sanjeev Kumar.
He said the women family members of deceased employees are getting respectable amounts as benefit (Social Security) of Employees’ Provident Fund, Employees’ Deposit linked Insurance and Pension Scheme in J& K and Ladakh.
Regarding Death claims settlement, Rizwanudin said special emphasis has been laid on settlement of death claims.
“Accordingly, multiple death claims have been processed and benefits have been provided to the claimants. This includes PF and Insurance benefits”.
