Rajouri, Jan 28: At least eleven people, including an eight day old infant, were injured after a passenger mini bus met with an accident at Muradpur Bathuni area of Rajouri on Wednesday, officials said.
Officials said the mini bus was travelling from Rajouri towards Doongi Keri when it met with the accident under unknown circumstances. The vehicle reportedly lost control on the road, resulting in injuries to multiple passengers on board.
Soon after the incident, locals and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted all the injured persons to Government Medical College Rajouri for treatment.
Hospital sources said all the injured are undergoing treatment, while the condition of some patients, including the infant, is being closely monitored by doctors.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident. [KNT]
