Election Urgent: DDC, Panchayat by-election: Training imparted to polling staff at Bandipora
On the occasion, the District Level Master Trainers: Mohammad Ramzan Bhat and Mohammad Iqbal Samoon imparted training to the polling staff including Presiding Officers, P1,P2 and P3 in two sessions under the overall supervision of Nodal Officer Trainings, Mohammad Rafiq Parray.
During the training, the master trainers acquainted the polling staff with the rules and regulations of the election process and implementation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC).
The Polling Officers were briefed about their duties and functions especially to ensure free, fair and smooth conduct of by-election (Panchayat) in the district.
The training session was attended by Polling Officers and other polling staff besides other concerned officers and officials.
On the occasion, Deputy Chief Education Officer GM Sheikh briefed the polling staff about their role and responsibilities and asked them to ensure that all instructions regarding poll day are implemented in letter and spirit.
