Eight animals charred to death in Sumbal Blaze

Bandipora, Feb 23: Eight animals were killed in the fire mishap in Arampora Sumbal area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district on intervening night of Thursday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Convener, said that two cows, two cattle and four sheep were charred to death when the cowshed of Bashir Ahmad Sofi son of Ghulam Hassan Sofi of Arampora Sumbal caught fire.

Locals of the area said that within no time the flames engulfed the entire structure of the cowshed which resulted in the loss of eight animals of the Bashir Ahmad.

Meanwhile the official said that the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
