Edu Deptt gives warm send off to Maulana Khursheed Anwar on his retirement

Bandipora, April 30: Department of Education on Tuesday gave warm send off to one of its reputed and popular teachers -Moulana Khursheed Anwar on his retirement.
The staff members and students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School Bandipora organized an impressive function in honor of Moulana Khursheed Anwar who is a reputed Urdu Teacher besides the chief cleric of the district Bandipora. He superannuated on April 30, after putting in 28 years of service in the school education department. The proceedings of the program were magnificently done by Javid Ahmad Jan (PEM) of the institution.
The function was also attended by the Principal Boys Higher secondary School Bandipora Tariq Ahmad Shah who attended the event as chief guest and shared his thoughts in a philosophical way.
The students of the school who participated in the ceremony hailed and thanked the retiring teacher for giving his best while in service. The student who participated include Aarizoo Sofia, Sheikh Aarizoo, Aamina lone, Hadika Bashir and Nowsheen. The topics touched soul of audience in the auditorium of the school and everyone with moist eyes witnessed this felicitation event.
The colleague speakers who spoke about his achievements include Mumtaz Ahmad Ganie, Ishtiyaq Hussain Samoon , Abdul Rashid Imroz, Muzaffar Ahmad and Abdul Khaliq Malik.
All the speakers highlighted the service rendered by Khursheed Anwar and threw light on the multi-facets of his personality and praised his role as a teacher, social worker and a religious preacher of the district. In a unanimous manner all declared him as a thorough professional, sincere, honest and an emblem of dedication.
The Principal of the school Mohammad Rafiq Parray on the occasion described the retiring Teacher a dynamic, honest, industrious, inspiring and philanthropic personality. He threw light on his professional and religious career and showered heaps of praises for the head and heart qualities of Khursheed Anwar.
Parray recalled his service and said that his commitment towards his duty was exemplary and lauded the role of retiring personality while dealing with the problems faced by the school. He announced that being a local and a head priest of the district Khurshied Anwar will remain head member of the school management development committee post his retirement.
At the end principal, staff members and the students of the school presented a shawl and some gifts as a token of appreciation for his distinguished service in the field of education. Principal and all the staff members wished him a happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
Khursheed Anwar in his emotional speech shared his experience as a teacher and prayed for students and staff wholeheartedly. He expressed gratitude for organising such a function in his honour. In the preparation of the event Nayeem Ahmad Parray vice principal of the school and Mohammad Amin of the institution played a key role to make the event successful. Manzoor Ahmad Bhat delivered the vote of thanks at the end.
