Bandipora, AUGUST 22: In compliance to directions of the State Legal Services Authority, an E-Lok Adalat was organized today here at District Court Complex, under the Chairmanship of Syed Sarfaraz Hussain Shah, Chairman DLSA (Pr. District & Sessions Judge), for taking up cases for settlement.
Four benches were constituted, which took up total 260 cases of which 172 cases were settled amicably and an amount of Rs. 9.78 Lakh was settled.
The first Bench was headed by Syed Sarfaraz Hussain Shah Chairman DLSA (Pr. District and Sessions Judge), second bench was chaired by Chief judicial Magistrate /Sub judge Bandipora Iqbal Ahmad Masoodi, third bench presided over by Munsiff Iqbal Ahmad Akhoon while the fourth bench was presided over by Munsiff Zahoor Ahmad Ganaie at Munsiff Court Complex Sumbal.
The adalat took up several cases include MACT cases, Bank Cases, Matrimonial Cases, Pre-litigation matters and others.
