Pulwama, April 24: As part of the ongoing 100-day campaign under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, the Drug Control Department Pulwama today carried out inspections of drug sale establishments in Tral and Awantipora to ensure strict adherence to the norms governing the sale and distribution of medicines.
During the inspection drive, a total of 15 establishments were checked. One firm was disallowed from operating on the spot for non-maintenance of records of prescription drugs.
During the inspection drive, necessary procedures, as per the prescribed regulations, were duly followed.
The drive is part of enforcement measures aimed at curbing the misuse of drugs and ensuring accountability in the sale of medicines.
