Dr Zahoor Expresses Gratitude to NC Leadership After Appointment as JKNC District President Bandipora

Bandipora, May 2: Newly appointed District President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) Bandipora, Dr Zahoor Sofi, on Saturday expressed heartfelt gratitude to the party leadership for reposing trust in him and assigning him the responsibility of leading the party in the district.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, Dr Sofi  extended his sincere gratitude  to the Party President, Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahab, Vice President Omar Abdullah, Party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary & MP Chowdhary Mohammad Ramzan, and Provincial President Showkat Ahmad Mir for entrusting him with this responsibility.

  “With humility and resolve, I look forward to serving the people of Bandipora and further strengthening the party cadre across the district,” he added.

He described the new role as a “sacred opportunity” to strengthen the party at grassroots across the district and infuse new ‘’josh’ among the cadre.

Dr. Sofi also conveyed heartfelt appreciation to the people of Bandipora district for their overwhelming warmth and support on his appointment. He acknowledged with special gratitude Advocate Nazir Malik, Constituency In-charge, for his constant encouragement and unwavering support.

Dr Zahoor said he has always been the basic political worker of the party and has never strived for any position in the party. “Now that I have been assigned this job, I assure the party leadership that I will live up to the expectations of one and all with complete dedication, commitment and integrity ”

He expressed hope and confidence that he will receive full cooperation and guidance from Hon’ble MLA Bandipora Jenab Nazir Ahmad Gurezi Sahab and Hon’ble MLA Sonawari Jenab Hilal Akbar Lone Sahab in taking the party forward.

He pledged to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and actively engage the youth in political and developmental initiatives.

Reaffirming his commitment to the party, Dr Sofi assured the leadership that he would work with utmost dedication, sincerity, and selflessness to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and serve the people of Bandipora.

Highlighting his two decades of selfless service in the party, Dr. Sofi stated that he has always worked with dedication and commitment without aspiring for any position. He reiterated his resolve to live up to the expectations of the leadership and pledged to strengthen the party at the grassroots level by connecting with workers and the public alike.

Dr. Sofi assured that he will work tirelessly to uphold the values and vision of JKNC and serve the people of Bandipora with sincerity and integrity.
