Jammu, Feb 15: Darbar Move Employees Federation (DMEF) Friday appealed to the Government to ensure safety and security of Darbar Move employees working here.
A statement issued by the Federation said that 'curfew' and restriction were not imposed properly and crowed carrying tri-colour attacked official accommodations of the employees and attempts were made to set ablaze several residential quarters of employees.
"Several vehicles were torched and vehicles bearing Kashmir's registration number were also damaged," the statement reads.
Federation's President Ovais Wani said that the incident compel employees to return to Kashmir in bid to protect their live. "Fedration have brought into the notice of Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Director General Police and ADGP Law & Order and they have ensured safety and security of the employees," Wani said.
Wani also appealed employees working in Jammu to protect themselves and their families.
