District Employment & counselling Centre Bandipora organises Job Fair/Placement drive-2023

Bandipora, 28 Feb: District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Bandipora organized a day long Job Fair mela/Placement drive to provide job opportunities to the youth of the District.
As many as 10 employers from different sectors participated in the event which included companies like SBI Life, HDFC, LIC of India and Am Hyundai, Suzuki, Hope School. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from job seekers as over 270 unemployed youth from across the district participated in the event.
More than 80 Job Seekers with varied skills were shortlisted by the companies for different jobs, while participating candidates were also registered on the employment portal.
Career Counselling officer Saima Bhat, interacted with the Jobseekers and Job providers. She expressed satisfaction over the success of the Job fair. She added that such events would be made a regular feature to benefit the maximum number of local youth. She impressed on the employers and job seekers to register on the employment Portal of Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir www.jakemp.nic.in
The unemployed youth expressed gratitude to the district employment and counseling centre Bandipora for organizing this job fair and bringing employers to their doorsteps.
