District Employment & Councelling department Ganderbal organises placement drive in Faculty of Fisheries, SKUAST Ganderbal

Ganderbal: District Employment & Councelling centre Ganderbal in collabration with Faculty of Fisheries, SKUAST Ganderbal organises placement drive of the year at Rangil,

Ganderbal. 

Dean faculty of the department along with officers from DE&CC Ganderbal inaugrated the drive.

A good number of Students from the Faculty did register and appear in interviews during the

placement drive. An interactive session was held where the

representatives from Khyber (Aquaculture) and CCPC cell of FoFy along with DE&CC Ganderbal sensitized the students about the process ofregistration and recruitment.

Arooj, HR/Manager of Khyber gave a bird's eye view of the vision and mission of the Khyber (Aquaculture) which has been established at Kangan area of Sind Valley with massive infrasturucre having capacity toproduce hundreds of tons of Trout annually. Mudasir M Kirmani along with representatives from DE&CC,

Ms. Saima Bhat CCO, DE&CC, Ms Faiza Fida Wani,

YP, Ministry of Labour and Employment and students from FoFy. More than 50 students from Faculty of Fisheries

participated in the placement drive. The students appreciated the efforts of Dean FoFy, CCPC cell and student volunteers for conducting the placement drive

at Faculty of Fisheries.
