Bandipora march 06: The District Administration Bandipora on Wednesday felicitated ju-jitsu players of Bandipora who participated in 8th UT ju-jitsu championship 2023-24 held at Bagwatinagar Jammu organized by ju-jitsu Association J&K.
Coach Yameen Sports Academy Muzaffar Ahmad informed that in 8th ji-Jitsu championship 30 Athlets from bandipora participated and bagged 17 medals in different categories.
The championship also witnessed selection of players from Bandipora for the upcoming National ju-jitsu championship which is scheduled to be held from 29th March to 2nd April in Lucknow.
Muzaffar Ahmad revealed that Sabkat Malik of yameen sports Academy got gold and Amina Bano bagged bronze medal in Senior National ju-jitsu championship held at uttarakhand.
Deputy commissioner while interacting with the players congratulated them for their achievement and expressed best wishes for continued success in their future endeavors.
