Jammu, Jan 15: In a proactive move towards ensuring the success of the Swachh Bharat Mission-Grameen, Anoo Malhotra, the Director General of the Directorate of Rural Sanitation, Jammu and Kashmir, presided over a comprehensive district-wise review meeting on Monday.
The meeting witnessed active participation from the Assistant Commissioner of Panchayat (ACPs), underlining the collaborative approach towards achieving the mission's objectives. Malhotra emphasised the pivotal role each district plays in the Swachh Bharat Mission, urging ACPs to intensify their efforts to promote sanitation and hygiene at the grassroots level.
The Director General meticulously analysed the progress of ongoing initiatives, highlighting successful practices and addressing challenges faced by different districts.
Malhotra, known for her visionary leadership, presented a strategic roadmap for the upcoming phases of the Swachh Bharat Mission, emphasising the need for creative solutions to address unique challenges in each district.
