Bandipora, Feb 07: The District Drug De-Addiction Center (DDAC) launched a poster campaign against drug abuse. The campaign aims to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the rehabilitation services available at DDAC.

The posters, placed in prominent locations like restaurants and malls, highlight the services offered at DDAC, including free treatment for both outpatient and inpatient individuals. The initiative has received support from local authorities and community members. DDAC provides various services like Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA), Outreach and Drop-in Centres (ODIC), and Community-Based Peer-Led Interventions (CPLI).

They use different treatment methods such as behavioral therapy and withdrawal therapy to help those struggling with drug addiction. The campaign, in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora, Department of Social Welfare Bandipora, and Implementing Agency JKSWM, shows DDAC's commitment to fighting drug abuse and creating a healthier community.
