Bandipora, Jan 09: In order to ensure smooth functioning and quality healthcare services at the District Hospital (DH) Bandipora, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather undertook a surprise visit during late hours on Tuesday.
Accompanied by ADC Bandipora Umar Shafi, the visit aimed to assess the working scenario, infrastructure, and patient care standards inside the hospital.
DC on-spot inspected all the wards in the hospital. On the occasion, the DC received feedback from the patients regarding the treatment being given to them. DC also checked the duty roaster of the official and doctors on duty. He also checks emergency and other night services available to the patients.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the medical superintendent to ensure quality healthcare facilities in the hospital. He directed hospital authorities to ensure the daily duty roaster is followed strictly so that patient care does not suffer.
Tehsildar Bandipora Sheikh Tariq, CMO Bandipora, MS DH Bandipora besides other concerned were also present on the occasion.
