DC Bandipora reviews plans for upcoming JKSSRB exam

Bandipora, Jan 23: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ur Rehman, chaired a meeting of head of institutions, centre superintendents and concerned Officers here to finalize the preparations of OMR based written examination for the post of Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA) of JKSSB.

During the meeting, it was informed that 5463 candidates are expected to appear in the written examination at 22 centers set up across the district scheduled to be held on 28th of January in the district.

For the smooth, free and fair conduct of examinations, magistrates, observers, superintendents and Dy. Superintendents have been deployed in the district.

Deliberations in the meeting focused on roles, responsibilities and coordination of manpower, meticulous arrangement of basic facilities, especially heating arrangements keeping in view the cold conditions, elaborate security arrangements, logistics for transportation, safekeeping of examination materials and efficient traffic management.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC said that fair and transparent exams are the top most priority of the district administration.

The DC directed to ensure the installation of CCTVs in control rooms of the educational institutions of the district where these SSB exams are going to be conducted along with videography of exams.

The meeting was apprised that the police department was directed to ensure adequate deployment of Police personnel for escort of examination material and for proper frisking.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Umar Shafi, Member-Secretary, SSRB, Zahoor Ahmad, Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Administrative Officers, Tehsildars, Superintendents, Head of institutions and other Concerned attended the said meeting.
