Bandipora, Jan 04: The Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Dr Owais Ahmad, Thursday conducted a review of the performance made under the Panchayat Development Index in the district.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Bandipora Mohammad Ashraf Hakak who also holds the charge of Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) besides officials of the RDD, including Block Development Officers (BDOs) and other concerned also attended the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner placed strong emphasis on achieving higher ratings of all 81 indicators across all 151 Panchayats under PDI, which evaluates the performance of Panchayats based on various development parameters.
He directed officials to expedite infrastructure officials to address any bottlenecks hindering progress and performance.
The Deputy Commissioner also stressed for close coordination among different stakeholders to ensure timely updation of all indicators on the PDI portal of the District
