CRPF organises Medical camp under Civic action programme
Bandipora, April 06: The 3rd battalion of CRPF on Thursday organised a free medical camp in Bandipora under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
An official said CRPF organised the camp in interior and far flung area of Bandipora District for providing medical assistance to the Old ailing people living in the remote area of Gujarpatti under Police Post Sumlar, PS of Bandipora.
The medical camp was inaugurated by Sh. Rakesh Sharma, Commandant 03 Battalion CRPF in presence of elderly local Abdul Salam (78) of Arin.
About 371 villagers were benefited during the programme DDC member Jenab Mohi ud din, BDC members and Sarpanch of Arin and other learned members of nearby area witnessed the medical camp.
A large number of people were screened for various ailments during the medical camp, free medicines were also given to the patients in the medical camp.
While concluding, Officers of 03 Bn. CRPF appreciated the participation of the village representatives and medical team of PHC Chuttimulla and Astangoo on the occasion.
