CRPF organises Free medical camp in Qazipora
Bandipora, April 11: The 3rd battalion of CRPF on Tuesday organised a free medical camp in interior and far flung Qazipora, Watpora, Mangnipora villages of Bandipora under Civic Action Programme (CAP).
The medical camp was inaugurated by elderly senior citizen local Haji Mohd Ismail, (89) Resident of Watpora in the presence of Rakesh Sharma, Commandant 03 Bn and other officers of CRPF & elected members of Panchayat.
The programme included free medical checkup and distribution of medicines for serious illness and changing weather.
Large numbers of ailing peoples, specially old aged senior citizens of these village including ladies were benefited by the free medical consultation & treatment.
The CAP for medical benefit was also assisted by civil hospital and Dr. Riyaz Ahmad Mir, Medical officer PHC Ashtangoo, Dr. Ghulam Hassan Khan, Medical officer Ayush, Bandipora, Dr Riyaz Ahmad Zulfi, PHC Chuntimulla, Dr. Tarik Ahmad Dar, PHC District Hospital Bandipora also participated in extending medical treatment to the local populace.
More than 521 villagers were benefited during the programme, Mohd. Muzaffar Wani Sarpanch of Qazipora and Sarpanch of Watpora A & B and other learned members of village Panchayats of nearby areas witnessed the medical camp.
While concluding, Officers of 3 Bn. CRPF appreciated the participation of the village representatives and medical team of District Hospital Bandipora, PHC Chuttimulla, Ashtangoo and Ayush team Bandipora on the occasion.
