Bandipora:- A free medical camp was organized by 3 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Pazalpora Village of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday.
An official said, 3 BN CRPF under civic action programme, On Thursday organised a Free Medical Camp at Pazalpora village of Bandipora where free medicines to apprx 165 patients were distributed.
The Camp was inaugurated by Gulaam mohammad chopan an elderly patient,(approx. 73 years old) in the august presence of Commanding Officer 3 BN CRPF Rakesh Sharma,2I/C Kailash Nath, Asstt. Commandant Rajender Singh & SHO Pethakoot Bandipura Tanvir Ahmed Khan.
On this occasion Sh. Rakesh Sharma CO 3 BN, CRPF Bandipora informed the local villagers that medical camp by CRPF is an initiative taken for healthy Bandipora based on Healthy Society-Strong Nation concept and likely to benefit the poor villagers of Bandipora where poor and needy people cannot afford costly medical treatment. It is also an attempt to build confidence among the needy people and spread the health awareness for a healthy society. He apprised that 3 Battalion is conducting these Free medical camps at diiferent interior and far flung locations across Bandipora.
He further apprised the gathering that CRPF is providing treatment and free medicines for various diseases including seasonal illnesses, varied local health issues and other complex ailments.
The large no. of local residents gathered to avail the facility hailed the noble initiative being taken by CRPF in Pazalpora, Bandipura.
The available CRPF Doctor and his medical staff along with Dr. Tariq, Medical officer Bandipora District hospital have been seen committed in arranging check up besides providing check up of blood Sugar and Blood-pressure.
Large quantity of Hygiene-sanitation items and Covid protective gears were also distributed among the gathering who witnessed the program.
Refreshment and chocolates to the children/villagers who gathered at the venue to participate in the camp, were also served.
Elderly most people present at venue Jb Manzoor Ahmed Teli, while giving vote of thanks hailed CRPF initiatives besides villagers who availed the facility in large number. for its painstaking efforts and conveyed gratitude to villagers who availed the facility in large number.
