Crackdown Against Terror Ecosystem Continues for Second Consecutive Day Across Sopore

Sopore, November 09:In continuation of the massive crackdown launched by Sopore Police against Over Ground Workers (OGWs) and terror associates, search operations were carried out for the second consecutive day across multiple areas of the Police District.

Searches were conducted at over 30 locations linked with JKNOP, other terrorist handlers, and their associates, based on credible intelligence inputs. The coordinated operations aimed to disrupt local networks providing logistical, financial, or ideological support to terrorism.

During the ongoing operations, many OGWs and suspected associates were detained for questioning to ascertain their connections and roles in aiding cross-border handlers. Several incriminating materials and digital devices were also seized for forensic examination.

The Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) were conducted simultaneously across sensitive areas with the objective of dismantling the terror support network and preventing any subversive activities in the area.

According to official sources, the ongoing crackdown is part of Sopore Police’s broader preventive strategy to dismantle the terror–separatist ecosystem operating in the area. The drive, being carried out in close coordination with security agencies, will continue in the coming days to ensure lasting peace and stability.
