Conductor Dies, Driver Injured in Oil Tanker Road Accident in Pampore

Pampore, Jan 19: A oil tanker conductor was killed and the driver seriously injured after their vehicle met with an accident in Saffron Town Pampore area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police officials told Kashmir Convener that the accident took place during the midnight hours, an oil tanker bearing registration number JK01AL-7301 met with an accident near Molvi Masjid, Kadlabal, after the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a Saloon shop. In the incident, both the driver and the conductor of the tanker sustained seriously injuries.
Soon after the incident, a team of police station Pampore rushed to the spot to rescue the driver and conductor. Both were shifted to Sub-District Hospital Pampore, however, the Conductor of the oil tanker identified as Jia Lal son of Galado Ram, resident of Kaither Udhampur was declared dead, whereas the driver of the vehicle identified as Taran Singh reffered to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
