Bandipora, Jan 03: Citizens Welfare Forum in collaboration with Culture and Science Foundation and JK Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum Zone Sumbal Wednesday organised a condolence meeting at the residence of the late former District Officer, Abdul Rahim Kaloo, to pay respects and homage following his demise on Sunday.
The meeting as per the statement issued to the Kashmir Convener was attended by Chairman of Citizens Welfare Forum, Haji Syed Sajad Hussain, President of Culture & Science Foundation Shahbaz Hakbari, Iniyat Ullah Parray, Zahoor Ahmad (Zonal President JK RRET Forum), and local residents.
Members expressed heartfelt condolences and offered prayers for the peace of the departed soul. Colleagues of the deceased remembered his humble and helpful nature, acknowledging his significant contributions to the department and society at large.
In his speech, Haji Syed Sajad Hussain paid rich tributes to Abdul Rahim, describing him as a humble, kind, and selfless gentleman. He highlighted the immense contribution of the departed soul to society and emphasised his leadership qualities, earning love and admiration for his sense of public service, simplicity, and honesty. Abdul Rahim was held in high regard by everyone who knew him.
