Ceremonial Exhibition Showcases Rare Historic Photographs at Khankah-e-Aaliya, Pampore

PAMPORE, November 28: A special ceremonial exhibition was held after Friday prayers at the historic Khankah-e-Aaliya Pampore, showcasing rare and invaluable photographs—some dating back to 1890 and beyond. The exhibition, titled “Tareekhi Khankah-e-Aaliya Pampore — Tasweeroon Ki Zabani,” opened for public viewing and drew immense interest from devotees, locals, and heritage lovers.
The displayed photographs reflect the spiritual and architectural legacy of Khankah-e-Aaliya across generations, capturing the evolution of the shrine and its cultural significance.
The exhibition was attended by Mirwaiz Moulana Riyaz Ahmad Hamdani, President Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore Mohammad Maqbool Shah, Secretary General Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore Mukhtar Ahmad Tantray, Secretary Publicity Idara Auqaf Islamia Trust Pampore John Mohammad Sheikh, along with other members of the Trust.
Devotees expressed deep appreciation for the initiative, noting that such exhibitions help preserve and pass on the historical and spiritual heritage of Pampore to future generations.
The exhibition will remain open for public viewing for the coming days.
