Bandipora, May 18: Chief Education Officer Bandipora Abdul Majeed Dar on Thursday chaired a meeting of officers and heads of education institutions of the district to review the performance of the department.
An official spokesperson said all the Principals, Zonal Education Officers, Headmasters and Caretakers of various institutions were present in the meeting to discuss various issues.
The meeting deliberated on Annual Transfer Drive (ATD), vacancies in Education department, Performance of government and private Schools, implementation of JK Smart Attendance App and Samiksha Portal, uploading status of Migratory Students, Information in connection with Manak Awards and Toycathon
Earlier Dy Chief Education Officer Bandipora Mohammad Rafeeq Paray welcomed the officers present in the meeting. He also highlighted the issues pertained to the department and presented a detailed performance of the department in various sectors.
In his presidential address Chief Education Officer Bandipora thanked all the participants and discussed with them the points with regard to the agenda presented in the meeting.
He also threw light on the importance of the NEP 2020 in the present scenario.
Nodal Officer JK Smart Attendance and Samiksha Portal Mir Irfan Maqbool presented and discussed the agenda points in threadbare. He also deliberated the issues related to JK Attendance, and Samiksha Portal.
Other dignitaries spoke on the occasion were Nasir Hussain Peerzada Principal HSS Chuntimulla and ZEO Bandipora Mohammad Syed Shah. They put forth their valuable suggestions regarding the development of Educational scenario in the district.
On the occasion, the book entitled Tarkeeb i Nehvi Aur Deegar Mukhtasar Asbab i Urdu, written by M. Yaseen Qadri Hoi Hs, Ganastan was also released by CEO Bandipora.
Dr A.M Nishtar Principal HSS Shahgund presented Vote of thanks and the proceedings were carried on by Dr Reyaz ul Hassan, Distt Cultural Coordinator, CEW CEO Bandipora.
