CEO Bandipora Inspects Schools in Gurez, Stresses on Digital Learning
BANDIPORA, Aug 9 — Chief Education Officer (CEO) Bandipora, Altaf Hussain Tara, on Friday conducted a detailed review of several schools in the remote Gurez area, with a special focus on improving digital facilities and teaching standards.
Mr. Tara visited Higher Secondary School Izmarg, High Schools Wanpora, Tarbal, Chowran and Kanzalwan, Middle Schools Wanpora and Chorwan, and Primary School Refuji. He met heads of institutions, teachers, and students to assess the learning environment, infrastructure, and classroom practices.
The CEO gave on-the-spot instructions to improve teaching methods, student engagement, and school management. He stressed the need to use modern technology in classrooms and to make digital learning accessible to students in far-flung areas.
He also directed officials to upgrade infrastructure where needed and ensure that all schools are equipped to support modern teaching practices.
Mr. Tara said the Education Department is committed to bridging the digital divide so that quality education reaches every student, regardless of location.
