CEO Bandipora Hails Performance of Govt School Students at Aakanksha Haat

Bandipora, July 31: Students from various schools across District Bandipora came together in a vibrant display of talent and innovation at the ‘Sampoornata Abhiyan Saman Samaroh’ and Aakansha Haat an educational exhibition organised under the supervision of the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Bandipora.

The Exhibition was inaugurated by Minister Satish Sharma. The exhibition featured a wide range of educational models and prototypes, designed and presented by students to reflect scientific concepts, community-driven innovations, and key educational themes.

Officials said the event was aimed at promoting holistic development and experiential learning, in line with the core objectives of the Sampoornata Abhiyan.

Participating schools included GHSS Bandipora, HSS Nadim Memorial Bandipora, HSS Quilmuqam, HSS Chuntimulla, and GHS Plan wherein students showcased various innovative scientific models besdies showcasing heritage and cultural programmes.

 A special highlight of the event was a cultural performance by BHS Bonakoot, where students presented a traditional Sheena song, adding colour and diversity to the academic showcase. Around 70 students from HS Bagh also attended the event.

          Speaking at the occasion, the CEO Bandipora praised the dedication of students and teachers, stating that such events play a vital role in fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills among young learners. “These exhibitions go beyond textbooks and classrooms — they are a celebration of innovation and active learning,” he said.

          The event saw enthusiastic participation from teachers, students, and education stakeholders, turning it into a collective celebration of educational progress. The Saman Samaroh marked a significant step in Bandipora’s pursuit of quality, equity, and inclusive education under the Sampoornata Abhiyan.

The programme was coordinated by the Media and Cultural Wing of the Chief Education Office, Bandipora.

The event was organized to commemorate the successful saturation of six key indicators under the Sampoornata Abhiyan, launched on July 1, 2024, as part of the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) of NITI Aayog.

Earlier Minister for Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Transport, Science & Technology, Information Technology, Youth Services & Sports, and ARI & Trainings, Satish Sharma, presided over the Sampoornata Samman Samaroh and inaugurated the week-long Aakanksha Haat at Nishat Park, Bandipora.
