Srinagar, March 16:(GNS) Nocturnal Gunfight has started between militants and government forces in Nowgam are of Central Kashmir's Srinagar district on Wednesday.
Reports reaching GNS that a joint team of Police and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Nowgam.
As the joint team of forces encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
A senior police officer also confirmed to GNS about exchange of firing between militants and security forces.
Witnesses said Heavy firing is going between militants and security forces in nowgam srinagar. "Back to back blasts heard from encounter site."
Meanwhile Train services has been fully suspended between Banihal Baramulla( Railyway official) on Wednesday
