Cancer Awareness Campaign launched in Kanzalwan Village

Bandipora, February 05: The Indian Army stationed at Kanzalwan Village near Line of Control (LoC) in Gurez Valley on Saturday launched an awareness programme regarding Cancer disease in view of the World Cancer Day being celebrated today.               

            An official spokesperson said in the campaign keeping in mind "Know and Fight Cancer" an exhibition was organised. Moreover anti-Tobacco/anti cancer slogan and poster making competition was also carried out for children. Children made a cancer day logo by joining hands together to fight for a cause to defeat Cancer in the locality.

            He said big snow Cigarette was destroyed by children symbolically by taking a resolution not to use any tobacco products and even not let their parents to use it. “Thus the future of society participated in the campaign and the efforts incorporated by Army to make Kanzalwan a healthy and cancer free region was appreciated by all”
