Budgam admin tightens noose on private schools for ignoring Govt orders

Srinagar, May 18: While taking a serious note on several private schools in Budgam for keep their schools open during government holidays, district administration has called an urgent meeting regarding the matter.

Terming the action as non-compliance and violation of protocol, the education officials and district administration has strictly impressed upon Head of private schools to adhere to the guidelines and desist from keeping schools open during Govt holidays.

While talking to reporters, CEO Budgam Fataima Bano said that "We will take serious action in case of any violation by schools. We have called a meeting in this regard where all heads of private schools are summoned. DC Budgam will head the meeting and strict action against violators will be taken."

"The violation of protocol has happened in around six zones and if we fine will be also imposes so that such things won't be repeated," she said.

The development has come after schools in zones of Budgam, Chadoora, Nagam, BK Pora, Soibugh, Khag and Beerwah were open despite government holidays.
